LATE MR. H. COWLING
FUNERAL OF PRINCETOWN STATIONMASTER.

The funeral took place Saturday of Mr. Henry Cowling, late stationmaster at Princetown, who died last Monday after a brief illness. The coffin was conveyed to Dousland by train and carried from the station to Walkhampton, where the service Walkhamton Church was conducted toy the vicar, Rev. R. H. Lucas, and Rev. H. R. Cooke, vicar Princetown. Deceased being a Mason, the Masonic was impressively recited the graveside the brethren and Rev. H. R. Cooke, after which the brethren filed past the grave and deposited sprigs of acacia tine coffin. The mourners included the widow and children, and Messrs. T. and H. Maddock (brothers-in-law). Others present were Divisional Supt. Campfield, and Inspectors Balk. Doidge and Lucas, of the Great Western Railway, Millbay; Mr. John Highman, ex-stationmaster at Princetown; members of the Great Western Railway staff, and brethren of Lodges Benevolence and Maristow.
